Jake received his undergraduate degree in political science from Mississippi State University and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Memphis Cecil C Humphreys School of Law where he concentrated on criminal law and procedure. During his time in law school, Jake worked as a student attorney for the City of Memphis where he litigated against blighted properties in the city, along with representing individual clients facing evictions.
While working for the City and for the University of Memphis Legal Clinic he developed the necessary skills to communicate effectively both with clients and opposing counsel at all stages of the case, and he does everything in his power to ensure that his clients are treated like family and receive the best possible representation.
